Bee pollen Perga is a very complex food. It contains 3-14% of fatty acids(linoleic acid, linolenic acid, and arachidonic acid), 15-35% carbohydrates, vitamins(B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, carotene, provitamin A, biotin, E and ruby), substances with antibiotic effects and 2-7% mineral substances with trace of microelements (iron, copper, potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium and silicon). It helps with digestion problems, against hair loss, improves thinking and memory and fights against fatigue and exhaustion.
WHAT IS PERGA:
Perga (bees bread) is used by bees to feed the newborn baby bees. The worker bees collect bee pollen to which they add nectar and secretion of their glands. Then they place it in honeycombs where they cover it with honey and let it ferment. Only this complex process makes the Perga so beneficial.
LOCATION OF COLLECTION:
We collect Perga in Radošina.
We like to add Perga into muesli or yogurt with some honey. After working out, we refill proteins to our body by adding Perga to smoothies or fruit juice.
